The clinical case-finding application is based on CliniWorks proprietary technology. The technology includes the utilization of medical term dictionary with different relationships between the terms and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies.
AccelFind integrates with all standard hospital databases to extract clinical information from both free text and structured data. Users enter complex medical cases (e.g.: Males, 55- 75 Year old, Non Smokers, Diagnosed with HTN and taking Beta Blocker) into a simplified physician friendly user interface for a quick on-line display of all matched cases. Results include display of original reports presented either de-identified in multi security levels as per HIPAA privacy and facility regulations.
